Restoring the soil Zimbabwe grows on

Zimbabwe’s economy is agro-based and its agricultural produce depends heavily on fertilisers for increased crop production. For years the industry leaned almost entirely on chemical fertilisers, which weakened the productivity of the soil — and depleted ground needs more than another bag of the same thing. It needs its biology restored, its nutrition balanced and its structure rebuilt. Humuson Complex was birthed upon realising that the inputs which do that work were reaching Zimbabwean farmers inconsistently, or not at all.

That gap was the starting point rather than the limit. Humuson Complex now supplies a complete programme — microbiological fertilisers, biostimulants and crop nutrition for the soil, the leaf and the irrigation line — from established European producers, and pairs it with agronomists who match the product to the crop, the soil and the growth stage.
